Top Cities for International Visitors in 2025

In 2025 Bangkok saw 30.3 million international arrivals, cementing its place as one of the top travel and tourism hubs in the world, according to Euromonitor data. However, Bangkok is the only city among the top 10 to see a decline, dropping 7% year-on-year. Hong Kong follows in second place with 23.2 million visitors (+6%), while London holds firm as Europe's most-visited city at 22.7 million (+4%). Macau is the fastest-growing destination on the list, surging 14% to reach 20.4 million arrivals. Turkey punches well above its weight with two cities in the ranking - Istanbul at 19.7 million (+6%) and Antalya at 18.6 million (+8%). Dubai (19.5M), Mecca (18.7M), Paris (18.3M), and Kuala Lumpur (17.3M) round out the top ten, all posting solid growth between 4% and 7%. While European capitals remain major draws, the gravitational pull of global tourism appears to be trending towards Asia and the Middle East.
