How many Irish divorce applications are granted?

After a bitter campaign, divorce was legalised in Ireland 20 years ago. Two decades on from a bitter campaign and tight referendum, thousands of Irish couples get divorced every year. According to information provided to TheJournal.ie, there were 431 divorce applications in the first year after the legistlation was introduced. Only 95 of them were granted.
